Julie Harris is a visual artist based in Sausalito, California, where she works from her studio in the historic ICB Building. Drawing on a background in fashion and clothing design, her work spans abstract and figurative painting, collage, and handmade ceramics — all rooted in an intuitive, emotionally driven process. Her paintings are bold yet tender, layered with paint and collage, shaped by spontaneity and the ongoing conversation between freedom and doubt. Her ceramics are one-of-a-kind vessels — asymmetrical, spirited, and quietly symbolic. She shows her work at Open Studios and select venues, keeping her practice intentionally small, personal, and relational.​​​
